Salt & Pepper Prawns

One of our personal favourites at Bamboo Oriental – ideal for cocktail parties’

Ingredients (serves 4)

  • 6 tiger prawns – de-shelled and cleaned
  • 20g spring onions, thinly chopped
  • 10g red bullet chilli, deseeded and chopped
  • 5g sesame seeds
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 5g crushed garlic
  • ½ teaspoon chilli flakes
  • Salt to taste
  • Coarse black pepper to taste

Method

Pre heat a medium sized wok

Add the oil and crushed garlic, then add the prawns together with salt, pepper, sesame seeds and chili flakes

Once cooked, add the lemon juice, spring onions and chopped chilies

Serving tip: serve each prawn on an individual taster spoon
